on our way home after choir today, we encountered a bird lying on the ground with red ants all over its body. but its still breathing. the man that had been trying to get all those red ants off gave up in the end. but the five of us stood around it trying hard to at least get the red ants off its head. but before we could do it, it stopped breathing. :/it reminded me of the two yellow birds i saved with Hweechi they all last year. same scenario, however different ending. cause we couldnt save the bird today. its sad to see the bird struggling so hard to fly but we couldnt do anything about it.
but thinking back, we are no better than those red ants. cause we killed many of them to save the bird. however, we cant just leave the red ants to bite the bird right? sadly, there aint any perfect solution where you can save the bird and not killing the red ants. anddddd the thing is, we didnt even manage to save the bird. D:
perhaps, thats just how ironic life is supposed to be?
