IT'S HOLIDAYS TIME!
Went on a short holiday in Phuket on 17th- 21st Sept. I was so looking forward to the trip ever since we started talking about it. and here it is, the days that we were having fun always passed so quickly and before we knew it, we were alrdy on our next plane home. 5 days doesn't seem enough for us, but im sure we will have another chance to go overseas together! wohoo!Not gonna go in detail of what we did everyday cause im too lazyyyyyy, but it is all in my mind as memories that will never be forgotten! haha. This trip allowed me have a lot of whole new experiences, different views about life and definitely made me cherish my friends even more. This 5 days living with classmates was so enjoyable, had lots of fun especially when we cooked our own breakfast and taking care of the villa like it was really like our home cause we still have to wash our own dishes and clean up the kitchen area. haha!
Sightseeing is definitely part of the itinerary when we go overseas. Went to Phang Nga Bay through speedboat and we canoe-ed through the limestone and the natural habitat, truly an once in a lifetime experience. The beaches there were beautiful too, especially when it comes to sunset, it was breathtaking. We didnt get to see the sunrise though because.. yah you know why, beauty sleep are still more important to us, sunrise can wait. haha.
Oh yah! What is visiting Phuket if you dont watch the cabaret show? yup, we caught the Simon Cabaret Show, the ladyboys were so beautiful! haha Sophia and I had lots of questions while watching the show, the really look like real woman. they look even more authentic than us, skinner, smaller face, taller. ok yes, that is how perfect they look. we also visited their place for nightlife, it wasssssssssss.... hmm a new experience, an eye opener for us.
Thai food! It is delicious and cheap! especially their street food, it taste even better than those in the restaurants, whats more we can dine by the beach, enjoying the night breeze and fireworks. haha, it was really nice. We finally got to eat mango sticky rice on our fourth day, after Sophia nag about wanting to eat mango sticky from the first day, hahaha! did i mention that we had Tom Yum Goong everyday? yes, we had it everyday, from those in the restaurants to those from the streets, from those that tasted bland to those that were really authentic and flavourful. and so far, the best we've had so far were from the streets! We've had their fastfood, like KFC and Burger king as well, their KFC was good and cheaper! but i think their burgerking taste the same as those in Singapore, the price is almost the same too.
Shopping! ok hmm there are not much things to shop in Phuket, every shop sells almost the same things. so i didnt really shop much there, only managed to grab a few accessories and gifts for friends thats all. Bangkok is still the best place for shopping! Gonna go there again if i have the chance!
My room mates in this trip was Sophia and Jasmine, it wasnt really strange sleeping with them cause Sophia was my roomie during the cruise trip and Jasmine slept with us during one of the nights. Although we will snatch the blankets in the middle of the night cause we aircon was REALLY cold, but it was definitely a good experience sharing the same bed as them, talking till we fall asleep, sharing thoughts after each day have passed, though im always the first to fall asleep. haha. really look forward to sleeping with you guys again! and also Jeanne and Melissa! felt closer to them after this trip as we also talk till late night during the trip and Jeanne shared the same bathroom with me and Sophia. HAHA new experience! and guys, they were really caring during the trip, nice and funny people to travel with, got to know more about them definitely!
